Молитва Церкви: An App for Daily Liturgical Prayers

Молитва Церкви is a free mobile app that allows users to access the Liturgy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The app is developed by a group of priests and laypeople from the church and is aimed at providing access to the Liturgy for the faithful of the church and those interested in Byzantine rite traditions. The app follows the official liturgical calendar of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, prepared annually by the Patriarchal Liturgical Commission.

The texts of the liturgy follow the prayer book "Come, Let Us Worship," which is the most commonly used prayer book among Ukrainian Greek Catholics. The app includes texts for daily liturgical prayers and is based on the liturgical publications of the Basilian Fathers. The app also includes additional texts not found in the Basilian prayer book, such as the Octoechos of M. Kobrin and the Kiev Menaea of 1927.

The app provides brief excerpts from the lives of the saints and quotes from the works of the Fathers of the Church, compiled by Father Julian Katry, to help users understand the significance of each day's liturgy. The developers have made a conscious effort to make liturgical prayer accessible and responsible to users.
